"February Challenge day 28"
Photography
The last day! I made it! Woo! Anyway, for "Mother or Father", I took a picture of my mother with a ring of lights around her head as the only lighting, in front of a cool frame we have in our art room. I'm a big fan of the lighting. I was surprised at how well it turned out.

"February Challenge days 26&27"
Acrylic Paint
This was supposed to be "Tools in Place", but you can only barely make out the shapes of the tools... from top to bottom they are pliers, a wrench, a hammer, and a screwdriver.

"February Challenge days 22&23"
Pen and Marker
I attempted to make this piece an homage to a piece I made Sophomore year that was always something I really enjoyed. I can't decide if it does it justice. For "Cubism".

"February Challenge days 19, 20&21"
Acrylic Paint and Paper on Wood
For "Shadows and Peace" I wanted to focus on a quote by playwright Jonathon Larson. I have silhouettes of bullets raining down on a skull, with rain on a flower overlaid in color.

"February Challenge day 18"
Photography
For "Needs" with creative lighting, I took a picture of my house at night. It's always a welcome sight at the end of a long day.

This was for the "Surrealism" prompt. I was inspired by a sticker book of monsters Ms. Schick showed us in class, and I'm proud of it. I think it looks better in person though.
