"February Challenge day 14"
Acrylic Paint
For "Something You Love" I wanted to do something with some of my favorite colors and ended up combining that with palette knives, another love of mine. After coming up with a sub-par product, I decided to combine it with another thing I love: my friend Marissa! So thanks to Marissa for making this piece beautiful :)

"February Challenge days 11,12&13"
Pen
For "Voyeurism" I drew a camera drone filming a girl undressing. My original idea was much better, I think, but I was worried I wouldn't have time to finish it. This piece could use more, but I ended up procrastinating a bit and this was all I was able to scrape together. Oh well, better luck next time.

"February Challenge days 8&9"
Collage
For "Night with Text" I decided to do a collage with words from Dylan Thomas's "Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" as a voice of rebellion against the fading of natural light to artificial light. It was crazy difficult to x-acto blade out those tiny streetlights, and I am very proud of how it turned out.

"February Challenge day 7"
Photography
I mean it's pretty self explanatory, I think. Its bananas, and a banana boy. For "Fruit and Repetition".

"February Challenge days 5&6"
Acrylic Paint
My "Macro" piece is a view of space, with an angler fish superimposed over top it to represent the dangerous temptation of the stars. I'm a bigger fan of the background than I am the fish, but I still enjoy the final product. This is something I'd do again.

"February Challenge days 3&4"
Chalk Pastel
This is my first time using chalk pastel and I have to say that it was pretty fun, especially on wood, and with the fun pattern. It is a single piece of Chex cereal for "Breakfast". Note to Ms. Schick: I showed you this piece finished in class on Friday, but forgot to post it until now.

"February Challenge days 1&2"
Colored Pencil
For the prompt "new" I made this ground creature rising from the earth in the center of a set of mysterious pillars. I really have no clue what I'm doing with colored pencils so I'm overall pretty impressed with myself for this piece. Of course it could be better, but I'm proud of it. Given more time, I would add a sky, and would've made the piece bigger and more detailed.
